About me:

I completed a double bachelor’s degree at ESCENA Escuela de Animación y Arte Digital in Mexico City, where I started in Illustration and Concept Art before transitioning into 3D Modeling and Animation. Over four and a half years, I gained hands-on experience across the entire production pipeline from early ideas in pre-production to final output in post-production. That journey not only gave me a strong technical foundation, but also helped me realize where I truly belong: 3D animation.

Along the way, I had the opportunity to intern at MATTE CG in Pichincha, Ecuador, where I worked on 3D animation for advertising and contributed to a short film titled "Remember the Rats", created in Blender. The film was screened at the "Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival 2025", which was an incredibly rewarding experience.

I also completed my professional practices at BitAllForce, a Mexican indie game studio. There, I worked across multiple areas, including concept art, 3D modeling for assets and characters using ZBrush and Autodesk Maya, as well as rigging and 3D animation. You can currently find the prelude of their game "Dark Tales from Mexico" on Steam.

Right now, I’m finishing a postgraduate program in Computer Animation at Sheridan College (wrapping up June 19, 2026), where I’ve been able to sharpen my existing skills and push myself further. It’s been a chance to really focus on what I enjoy the most, animation and rigging, while revisiting the full pipeline with a stronger, more technical mindset.

I like understanding how things work, not just making them look good. That’s why I enjoy rigging as much as animation; it allows me to troubleshoot, experiment, and build stronger results from the inside out.

Every time I watch a great animated film, I get that feeling that pushes. It reminds me why I started and where I’m heading. I’m always looking to grow, improve, and get closer to creating work that makes people feel the same way.

 

 

Outside of my work, I’m passionate about video games. Some of my favorites include The Last of Us, Overwatch, and the Halo series, especially Halo: Reach. Also i LOVE watching feature animation films. I really like Up, How to train your dragon, Wild robot, K pop demon hunters, and most recently i enjoyed a lot Hoppers and The super Mario Galaxy movie.

I also enjoy listening to music, with a strong preference for Alternative. Also sometimes i like to spend my free time reading. One of my favorite books is Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami.
